Fred Lawrence

Coach Lawrence has been a long time fixture in the Weston football community.  Fred helped start and develop the Weston Youth Football League, was a long time VP of the Gridiron Club, and was the youth coach for many of the members of the 2019 Trojans State Championship Team.  Both of his sons graduated from Weston and played for the Trojans.

Fred spent the last two years as an assistant coach at Norwalk High School.  He’s originally from Port Washington  New York and graduated from SUNY Cortland where he was a four year member of the Rugby team . Fred also attended the University of Salamanca in Spain where he also played Rugby.  After his collegiate career, he played for the New York Rugby Club for 15 years.  

Coach Lawrence is currently employed by Morgan Stanley and resides in Weston with his wife Meg.
